  • Vladimir Strelkov is a Soviet and Russian film director and screenwriter. Graduated from the directing department of VGIK (1964, documentary film workshop of L. Kristi). Director of popular science, documentary and feature films. In parallel with his studies, he worked as a director at the Lower Volga and Kazan newsreel studios. Since 1964 - director of the Kazan Film Studio, since 1972 - TO 'Ekran' of the Central Television of the USSR. In 1978-1985 - production director at the Odessa Feature Film Studio. In 1992, Strelkov created the Blagovestie film and video studio at the ECB, where he shot films and television programs on religious themes. 1995-1998 taught directing at the State University of Cinematography.
