Biography

Daniil Strakhov was born on March 2, 1976 in Moscow, Russian SFSR, USSR [now Russia]. He is an actor, known for Peregon (2006), Isaev (2009) and My iz budushchego (2008). He has been married to Mariya Leonova since 2000.

His mother is a psychotherapist, father is a linguist.

Is known to be very passionate about his work. After filming a scene often gives suggestions how to make it all over again and these concern both acting, directing and cinematography.

He didn't need to do an audition for Aleksandr Rogozhkin's Peregon. He met the director in St. Petersburg, but they discussed other things like philosophy, foreign policy and the universe.

Has a younger sister Lisa, who lives in US.
