Sherri Stoner was born in Santa Monica, California, USA. She is a writer and producer, known for Animaniacs (1993), Tiny Toon Adventures (1990) and Casper (1995).

Her 5' 2", 92 lb. figure was a perfect template for the animated characters "Ariel" and "Belle" in Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid (1989) and Beauty and the Beast (1991), respectively.

Appeared as part of a cast/crew panel discussion at the premiere of a revival/promotional screening of the 1989 Disney classic, The Little Mermaid (1989), at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California on September 7th, 2006. During the discussion, reference footage of Ms. Stoner performing scenes from the film, that was shot for the animators, was shown publicly for the first time.

[high school] I didn't belong in high school ever. It wasn't really my cup of tea. I'm not a terribly social animal. I'm an only child, so I like my alone time. I'm not real comfortable navigating large groups of people, and that's all high school is about, right? I pretty much couldn't wait to get out of there.

[early acting roles] As luck would have it, I looked really, really young for my age, so I got an agent in commercials because I looked so young for my age. I could say dialogue okay, so I started going on commercial auditions and I got a bunch of commercials. I just sort of fell into it kind of by accident.
