Paul Stewart was born on May 25, 1937 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is known for Predator (1987), Planet of the Apes (2001) and Leviathan (1989). He died on March 17, 2025 in California, USA.

American special effects artist who had a successful six decade career in Hollywood.

In 1986/7, he was one of the five defendants who stood trial and were ultimately acquitted over 3 on set deaths which occurred during the filming of Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) in 1982. Paul was the special effects chief on the film. His fellow defendants were director John Landis, associate producer George Folsey Jr, unit production manager Dan Allingham and helicopter pilot Dorcey Wingo.
