- Is the only person besides Paul Reubens who was in all three Pee-wee Herman movies and on Pee-wee's Playhouse.
- She and Reubens were active participants with the Make-a-Wish Foundation and often appeared in character as Miss Yvonne and Pee-wee to bring happiness to terminally ill children. She and Reubens remained "the closest of friends" the rest of his life, with Stewart attending to Reubens at the end of his life.
- Stewart was a member of The Groundlings in the 1970s, and met both Paul Reubens and Phil Hartman there.
- She was cremated at Hollywood Forever Cemetery without a funeral or memorial service.
