- Anita Stewart was born on February 7, 1895 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. She was an actress and producer, known for The Lodge in the Wilderness (1926), A Midnight Romance (1919) and Her Kingdom of Dreams (1919). She was married to George Peabody Converse and Rudolph Cameron. She died on May 4, 1961 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

- Sister of actor/director George Stewart and actress Lucille Lee Stewart.

- American silent screen star. Entered films with Vitagraph in Brooklyn at the age of sixteen. Romantically partnered on screen with Earle Williams. Had her own, short-lived production company with Louis B. Mayer around the time of her best-known film, Virtuous Wives (1918). Under contract with First National from 1919. Remained a major draw card with movie audiences throughout the 1920s. Retired in 1928 with the advent of sound as one of the wealthiest women in Hollywood.
