Biography

Vladimir Steklov was born on January 3, 1948 in Karaganda, Kazakh SSR, USSR [now Qaraghandy, Kazakhstan]. He is an actor, known for Bomzh (Bez opredelyonnogo mesta zhitelstva) (1989), Moy luchshiy drug, general Vasiliy, syn Iosifa (1991) and The Inner Circle (1991).

Invited from Kyiv to Moscow in 1988 by Mark Zakharov after The Prisoner of Castle If (1988) and Vory v zakone (1988) and firstly was in the Moscow theatre "Lenkom".

Disclosed his medical condition to viewers on Russian television and agreed to undergo treatment in front of the camera to show other Russians how to treat serious health problems.

Suffered from brain hemorrhage and heart problems.
