Seweryn Steinwurzel was born on 18 January 1898 in Warsaw, Poland, Russian Empire [now Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland]. He was a cinematographer and editor, known for Serce na ulicy (1931), Poswiecenie pierwszego polskiego parowozu (1923) and Nowa Palestyna i otwarcie uniwersytetu w Jerozolimie (1925). He was married to Nora Ney. He died on 27 December 1983 in Lod, Israel.
