- Walter Steinbeck was born on September 26, 1878 in Niederlößnitz [now Dresden], Saxony, Germany. He was an actor and director, known for Deutsche Helden in schwerer Zeit (1924), Nanon (1938) and Unter falscher Maske (1918). He died on August 27, 1942 in Berlin, Germany.
