Biography

Birgit Stein was born in 1971 in Germany. She was an actress and producer, known for Ohne Gnade! (2013), House of the Dead (2003) and Don't Get Stuck (2003). She was married to Jürgen Prochnow and Hans-Jürgen Stangl. She died on August 2, 2018 in Kanab, Utah, USA.

On August 2, 2018, she got in a motorcycle accident in Utah on her way to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Her husband Hans-Jürgen Stangl was seriously injured; a rider died at the scene of the accident. Stein died at Kane County Hospital in Kanab. She was 50 years old.
