Aaron Stell was born on March 26, 1911 in Pennsylvania, USA. He was an editor and director, known for To Kill a Mockingbird (1962), Touch of Evil (1958) and Silent Running (1972). He died on January 7, 1996 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Prolific Hollywood editor with Columbia (1943-54), Universal (1961-62) and Pakula/Mulligan Productions (1962-65). Best remembered for his work on To Kill a Mockingbird (1962).
