Her breakthrough album, Dziewczyna Szamana, released in 1996, established her as one of the most distinctive artists of her generation in Poland.

    Over the course of her career, Steczkowska has released 20 studio albums and built an extensive body of work that also includes film soundtracks, live recordings, compilation releases and other special music projects. Her catalogue comprises approximately 300 songs and around 60 music videos. Throughout the years, she has explored pop, electronic, alternative, world and ethnic music, often combining contemporary production with strong visual concepts and influences drawn from different musical traditions.

    Among her best-known songs are "Dziewczyna Szamana", "Grawitacja", "Oko za oko", "Za karę", "Wracam do domu", "WITCH Tarohoro", "Mamacita", "D.N.A" and "GAJA". Her artistic projects have included albums and concert concepts such Anima, Maria Magdalena. All Is One, Szamanka, Steczkowska Demarczyk and WITCH TAROHORO. She has also composed and recorded music for film and worked as an actress, including a leading role in Na koniec świata (1999).

    Alongside her recording and concert career, Steczkowska has become a prominent television personality. She has appeared as a coach on The Voice of Poland and as a judge on the Polish edition of Your Face Sounds Familiar. Her career has been recognized with numerous awards and distinctions, including six Fryderyk Awards, two Wiktor Awards and the Amber Nightingale.

    In 2025, exactly thirty years after her first Eurovision appearance, Steczkowska returned to represent Poland with "GAJA". She qualified for the Grand Final in Basel, finishing 14th with 156 points, including 139 points from the public vote. In 2026, she celebrated 30 years of her artistic career with a special anniversary recital at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole and an extensive series of concerts in Poland and abroad.
