  • Tom Stasinis is an award-winning sound mixer with over 30 years of experience in television, film, and commercial production. Known for his work on hit series like Black-ish (ABC), Entourage (HBO), Community (NBC), and Arrested Development (Fox), Tom has built a reputation for his meticulous craftsmanship and deep knowledge of sound engineering. A two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner for Entourage (2009 and 2010) and a nominee in 2012, Tom has also received multiple nominations from the Cinema Audio Society, including for his outstanding work on Black-ish episodes "Juneteenth, the Musical" (2018) and "God" (2017).

    Tom's exposure to the film industry started early. He attended Beverly Hills High School, where he worked on local productions aired on the first cable channel in the area, the Z Channel. His passion for technology and sound was nurtured there through media service classes and his success in electronics and science fairs.

    Initially drawn to music, Tom's passion for audio engineering led him to a career in production sound mixing. His work spans both analog and digital eras, and he continues to embrace the latest technologies. Tom's career also includes owning and operating Firestation Recorders, a recording studio in LA, where he collaborated with artists like Lenny Kravitz, Slash, and Susanna Hoffs before selling it to M*A*S*H creator Larry Gelbart in 1992.
