Biography

Cory R. Starr is known for Away We Go (2009), Take Me Home Tonight (2011) and Middle Men (2009).

Was given the nickname "Click" by director Fred Gerber who thought he and his assistant bantered like "Click and Clack - The Tappett Brothers" (of car-talk fame).

Was a former police officer, has maintained his Federal Explosives License for over six years, and is currently the only Class 3 (fully certified) pyrotechnician in the entire State of Arizona. (In Arizona a Class 3 is only bested by a demolitions/mining blaster - which could be a Class 4).

Very passionate about WRC; owns two old-school Audi ur-quattros and is rebuilding one to match Hannu Mikkola's winning car.

Gearing up for huge film season; just finished training Phoenix FD on Special Effects and explosives safety.

Though still quite active in special effects, he owns several coffee shops in the metro-Phoenix (Arizona) area to stay entertained when not on set.
