      Frederick (Fritz) Stärk was born 16 November 1891 in Messkirch, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He emigrated to USA in 1912 working first as a pianist for silent films and worked in radio 1929-38. From 1936, he joined the music staff at Walt Disney Studios until he retired in 1961. He died 16 November 1969 in Merzhausen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
