Shane Stanley is a two-time Emmy® Award-winning filmmaker, producer, director, and two-time #1 bestselling author whose career has spanned more than four decades across film, television, music, and digital media. Raised in Hollywood, Stanley began his career as a child actor before transitioning behind the camera, where he built a reputation for producing commercially successful independent films that consistently reach global audiences.

Stanley's directing credits include the action-thriller Night Train, Hulu's longest-running #1 film, and the action-comedy Double Threat, which spent eight weeks in Amazon Prime's Top 10 before reaching #1 in 16 countries on Netflix. Earlier in his career, he produced the Sony Pictures theatrical release Gridiron Gang, alongside Neal H. Moritz. Starring Dwayne Johnson, the film debuted as the #1 movie at the U.S. box office.

Throughout his career, Stanley has collaborated with many of the industry's most respected talents, including Marlon Brando, Martin and Charlie Sheen, Sean Penn, Jane Seymour, John Travolta, Donald Sutherland, Mira Sorvino, David Arquette, Marisa Tomei, and Paul Williams. A sought-after speaker and advocate for independent filmmaking, Stanley has contributed to publications and organizations including Stage 32, Film Courage, No Film School, Indie Film Hustle, Student Filmmakers Magazine, and SXSW. He has also testified before the U.S. Library of Congress on issues affecting film education and copyright.

Stanley's recent work includes the music drama Six Days in Evergreen and the historical epic The Legend of Van Dorn. He is in post-production on Without Prejudice, a biographical drama chronicling the life of Harvey Brownstone, Canada's first openly gay judge, based on Brownstone's national bestselling memoir.
