Biography

Emil Stammer was born on June 15, 1858 in Potsdam, Germany. He was an actor, known for Das Skelett des Herrn Markutius (1920), Das Mädel von Pontecuculi (1924) and Du Mädel vom Rhein (1922). He died on December 30, 1926 in Berlin, Germany.

He dedicated to the opera where he was very successful and he appeared at different operas in cities like St. Petersburg and Berlin.

The actor Emil Stammer started his artistic career by taking singing lessons first. Later he also became an education as an actor and finally he became established both as a singer and actor.

The film business became aware of Emil Stammer at the old age of 60 and he took part in his first movies "Störtebeker" (1919) and "Augen" (1919).
