- Robin Spry was born on October 25, 1939 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was a producer and writer, known for Hitting Home (1988), One Man (1977) and Keeping Track (1986). He died on March 28, 2005 in Montréal, Québec, Canada.
- Has a son, Jeremy, and a daughter, Zoe, with his wife, journalist Carmel Dumas, from whom Spry was divorced shortly before his death.
