- Erwin Splettstößer was born on October 4, 1906 in Wysoki Stoczek, Bialystok, Poland. He was an actor, known for People on Sunday (1930) and Farewell (1930). He died on February 2, 1932 in Berlin, Germany.
- In 1932, Splettstößer died early. He has just parked his taxi, gets out and closes the garage door when the handbrake is released and the heavy vehicle rolls backwards.
