Biography

Gabriel Spahiu is a Romanian actor known for his versatile performances in film, theater, and television. With a career spanning over two decades, he has appeared in numerous critically acclaimed productions, including The Death of Mr. Lazarescu (2005), The Tube with a Hat (2006), Everybody in Our Family (2012), Aferim! (2015), and Kontinental '25 (2025). His nuanced portrayals and naturalistic acting style have made him a prominent figure in Romanian cinema. In addition to his work as an actor, Spahiu is also a dedicated professor at the National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale" (UNATC) in Bucharest, where he mentors the next generation of performers.
