Biography

Krzysztof Sowinski was born on March 19, 1948 in Lódz, Lódzkie, Poland. He was a director and writer, known for Pantarej (1988), Wakacje w Amsterdamie (1986) and Zapowiedz ciszy (1980). He died on January 25, 2022 in Lódz, Lódzkie, Poland.

Masters degree in law.

Pantarej was awarded by the Youth Jury of The International Film Festival is San Sebastian (Spain).

In 1978 graduated from The National School of Film, Television and Theatre in Lodz with Masters degree in cinematography. One of the short stories (50 minutes) in the L.J.Majewski's movie Home was his graduation project.
