JD Souther was born on November 2, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He was an actor and composer, known for Urban Cowboy (1980), Always (1989) and Cry-Baby (1990). He was married to Sarah Nicholson and Alexandra Sliwin. He died on September 17, 2024 in Sandía Park, New Mexico, USA.
