  • Vivian Sorenson is an Executive Producer, Showrunner, and visionary Director celebrated for her exceptional storytelling across unscripted, narrative, and documentary projects. She served as EP/Showrunner for La Pitchoune: Cooking in France (Magnolia, HBO Max, Amazon) and Guy's Chance of a Lifetime, and co-created and helmed over 800 episodes of Chopped and its spinoffs Chopped Junior and After Hours. Her work has earned a James Beard Media Award, Critics Choice Award, and an Emmy nomination, along with a Redford Center Grant for her upcoming documentary Fork in the Road. In addition to her acclaimed food programming, Sorenson has directed and produced for Queer Eye, The Bachelor, Wife Swap, What Not to Wear and Savoring Harlem with Marcus Samuelsson. She directed the narrative feature Serpentine Pink starring Sabina Zúñiga Varela and O'lan Jones, currently distributed by Gravitas Ventures and soon to be released internationally through LevelK. She has also directed four award-winning short narrative films, earning honors at festivals worldwide, including the Golden Starfish Award at the Hamptons International Film Festival, Best Short Film at the Santa Fe Film Festival and Taos Talking Picture for excellence in direction. A true innovator in immersive dining and storytelling, Sorenson currently serves as Culinary Creative Director and Producer at Electric Playhouse, Las Vegas, The Forum Shops at Ceasar's Palace, where she blends theatrical narrative, interactive technology, and culinary artistry. Her production Teatime in Wonderland was named one of the Top 10 Immersive Experiences in the World by Blooloop for its groundbreaking fusion of story, spectacle, and taste. She is now preparing to launch The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Brunch, an imaginative re-envisioning of the Oz universe.
