Biography

Daniel Sorano was born on December 14, 1920 in Toulouse, France. He was an actor, known for The Three Musketeers: Part I - The Queen's Diamonds (1961), Vengeance of the Three Musketeers (1961) and Othello (1962). He died on May 18, 1962 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands.

Good friends with Gérard Philipe.

He was buried in Pernes-les-Fontaines wearing his Cyrano De Bergerac costume, according to his wishes. His wife only kept the hat and the fake nose.

He played two different roles in different adaptations of "The Three Musketeers": Porthos in The Three Musketeers (1959) and Cardinal Richelieu in The Three Musketeers: Part I - The Queen's Diamonds (1961) and Vengeance of the Three Musketeers (1961).

Accomplished stage actor, known for his hugely acclaimed portrayal of Cyrano De Bergerac.

Before he died, he was supposed to play a role in The Leopard (1963).
