Biography

Christopher Soos is known for film work on Whiteout (2009), Phantom Love (2008), Anvil: The Story of Anvil (2008) and Feathers (2018).

His impressive TV credits include Season 2 of Chucky and Season 3 of Chucky, for Syfy / David Kirschner Productions; Season 1 of Bel-Air and Season 2 of Bel-Air for Peacock / Westbrook Studios; and Season 2 of Kidding for Showtime / Aggregate Films, executive produced by Jason Bateman, Dave Holstein and Michel Gondry.

Soos's film credits include 'Drowning' with director Melora Walters for Potato Eater Productions; 'Welcome To The Rileys' directed by Jake Scott for Samuel Goldwyn Films and Nina Menkes's 'Phantom Love': both premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, as well as 'Whiteout' with Director Dominic Sena for Warner Brothers; the Emmy award-winning documentary 'Anvil' directed by Sacha Gervasi for Abramorama. Plus the short film 'Feathers', directed by A.V. Rockwell for Fox Searchlight, (Winner, Best Cinematography in a Short Film, Blackmagic Awards - Melbourne International Film Festival).

His award-winning career includes music videos for notable artists such as Benny Blanco, Britney Spears, The 1975, The Cure, Leonard Cohen, The White Stripes, Red Hot Chili Peppers and David Bowie, to name a few. His work has won Juno Awards, MTV Music Awards, MuchMusic Video Awards and Canadian Society of Cinematographers Awards.

Soos has lensed commercials for prestigious brands such as Balenciaga, Microsoft, AT&T, Target, Walmart, Uber, Audi, Play Station, Nike, Old Spice, Volkswagen, Coca-Cola and Budweiser.

Christopher has collaborated with countless high-profile Directors including Tom Kuntz, Michael Spiccia, Nina Menkess, Matt Dilmore, Roman Coppola, Dante Ariola, Floria Sigismondi and Guy Ritchie.
