[first time naked on screen] The first time I was asked to uncover myself, I went ahead and pushed that boundary because, quite honestly, I wanted to see if I could do it. I wanted to see how literally and figuratively naked I could get.

[nudity in low budget vs. big budget films] It's interesting, is it not, that if a film has a budget of less than $30 million, and there is nudity involved, the film is called by a demeaning name; but if Demi Moore decides to bare all in Striptease, then it's called "art." There is such a double standard here in Hollywood. A film only achieves artistic merit when things come out of money.

[performing nude] Actually, nudity to me is like therapy. It frees me. I'm so comfortable with it that, after a while, I feel as if I'm wearing clothes. As long as my body is clean and beautiful, and not icky or disgusting or anything like that, I feel tremendously peaceful.
