Biography

David Sollberger is an Ohio-based SAG-AFTRA actor and retired U.S. Army National Guard Sergeant First Class with 23 years of military service. His artistic brand is authentic, resilient, and versatile, bringing discipline, adaptability, and professionalism to every production.

David’s entertainment journey began after the Marine Corps with community theatre and continued with a traveling magic-and-illusion show and a Wild West stunt show. He later performed as a rappelling mascot for the Tampa Storm arena football team, completing a 200-foot Australian-style rappel in front of 18,000 20,000 spectators, with fireworks launching around him.

His first SAG role came in the early 1990s in A Family Reunion: A Relative’s Nightmare. He has worked alongside award-winning actors and seasoned professionals who helped shape his journey, including a memorable five-week run in a Tokyo horror rock show.

David is not afraid to take chances, embrace new challenges, or step outside his comfort zone. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to listen to constructive criticism and quickly adapt, using direction as an opportunity to grow and improve. That mindset has remained a defining quality throughout both his acting career and life.

His screen work includes film, television, theatre, national commercials, and Blood and Rust. Outside acting, David is a competitive USPA power-lifter and state-record holder. He enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson on charity motorcycle runs, where helping others and giving back continue to inspire him. He remains deeply grateful to the family, friends, actors, and professionals who helped him along the way.
