- Jacob Solitrenick, ABC has been a cinematographer for over 30 years, with a body of work spanning over 38 feature films, 15 series, 14 documentaries and one hundred commercials.
He directed and photographed the documentary Pearls of Cuba and 4 seasons of the series Brazilian Singers for Canal Brasil. The series won the 5th Fymti Festival y Mercado de Televisión Internacional de Buenos Aires as Best Entertainment Program. It also won Best Sound and was a finalist twice for Best Photography at the ABC Awards for TV Series.
Although he also enjoys directing, he sees this option as an expansion of his knowledge for greater collaboration with the director in the elaboration of the cinematographic narrative. He thinks of each project as the integration of all areas and the set as the space where everything converges to capture the performance. Within the whole, photography is his craft through light, composition and blocking.
