Biography

Hisham Soliman is an Egyptian film producer with 30+ years of experience in film production and the founder/CEO of Hama Film Productions, a renowned Cairo-based production company with a portfolio of 300+ projects. He worked with eminent, award-winning directors, such as Youssef Chahine, Atef El-Tayeb and Yousry Nasrallah. Starting his career in the late eighties, he has witnessed different stages of the Egyptian film industry, which qualified him as the Chairman of the lead Egyptian TV channel network DMC, and soon later the Production VP at UMS (United Media Services), Egypt's top media service corporation. Hisham also worked with many international productions in Egypt including feature films such as the epic bio movie Malcom X and Exodus: Gods and Kings as well as documentaries such as the BBC mini series, Egypt.
