Streaming Stars, Then and Now

James Sobol Kelly is an American actor known for Young Sherlock (2026), Florence Foster Jenkins (2016), The Crown (2016), Jack Ryan (2018), and The Two Faces of January (2014). Kelly was born in Chicago to a Catholic family, and is the sixth of seven children. He is of Croatian and Irish descent. Kelly trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and first came to attention when he played Oscar Isaac's sinister FBI handler in the 2014 film The Two Faces of January (2014). As a stage actor he has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Punchdrunk, The Southwark Playhouse, and the American Repertory Theatre among many others.
