Has 4 children, 3 daughters and one son: Heather Ann Smith-Benard (b.June 25, 1991), Cailey Sofia Benard (b.September 18, 1994), Cassidy Rose Benard (b.April 18, 1999) and Joshua James Benard (b.December 5, 2004). She and her husband adopted her adopted sister on April 20, 2008, after her mother's death.
