Biography

David E. Smith is known for Dick Smith Make Up Artist (1976), Pulp Fiction (1994) and Adaptation. (2002).

Later on he regretted his work in violent horror movies, even writing a letter to the magazine Mother Jones after it ran a story about Mark Branch, a young man who allegedly killed a girl to emulate Jason from the Friday the 13th movies. In the letter he stated "I have blood on my hands.".
