Brent was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a mediocre student, a passable amateur boxer, and a general menace to society.
He wrote and produced the feature film Straight Right. He went on to become a professional MMA fighter and skilled grappler, later founding Bloodline Submission Grappling, which produced several standout fighters.
He holds two U.S. patents for his fitness equipment, Equibells, which The Wall Street Journal described as "a mashup of dumbbells and medieval weaponry." He is also the author of Quantum Fitness for Professionals, which debuted at #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases in 2023, and Key to the Fitness Enigma.
He owns and operates The Crown Gym in Los Angeles and is developing the feature film The Notch Boys.
