- Basically, I'm my own original Japanese animated character come-to-life. So much of what I do is anime-related. My partner, Douglas di Monda, is the creative director and fashion photographer. Through his love of anime and the Japanese Manga [comic book] culture, he saw how much I look like the Japanese animated characters. And through his vision and my musical and dancing abilities, we put this concept together.
