He was married to Barbara Julie Nicholls. He died on 16 February 2022 in Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, England, UK.

Best known for portraying the bigoted Eddie Booth in the British television sitcom Love Thy Neighbour.

Attended the London Academy of Dramatic Arts.

In childhood, he was evacuated to Blackpool after his family&#39;s home was destroyed in the Blitz during WWII.
