  • Trivia
British supporting actress, who specialised in dizzy blondes. A former child performer (as 'Baby Pearl'), singer and clog dancer, she began in music halls and made her London stage debut in 1912. Silent movies had her as a leading lady, but in the 1930's, she declined to minor roles in British quota quickies. Her career was briefly resuscitated by a strong performance in the film Seven Days to Noon (1950).
