In 1957, Screen Gems Productions produced a pilot about two lawyers (played by Menasha Skulnik and Dennis King), one Irish and one Jewish, working in late-Nineteenth Century New York. The series was never produced.

Trivia
One of the legendary talents of the Yiddish theater, Menasha Skulnik also appeared in several Broadway shows, most notably in Clifford Odets' "The Flowering Peach" and Harold Rome's "The Zulu and the Zayda," winning a Tony award for Best Actor in a Musical for the latter in 1964. He died in 1970 at the age of eighty.
