- Roy Skeggs was born in April 1934 in Barnet, Middlesex, England, UK. He was a producer and production manager, known for Fox Mystery Theater (1984), The Best of Benny Hill (1974) and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974). He was married to Linda Nettleton. He died on December 29, 2018.

- Noted producer for Hammer Films. Began at Bray studios in 1963 as production accountant. Later promoted to company accountant and secretary. Became production supervisor in 1970 and (with Brian Lawrence) took over the reins of the company when it fell into receivership in 1979. Was latterly chairman of Hammer films, based in Elstree.
