Gustaf Skarsgård was born on November 12, 1980 in Stockholm, Stockholms län, Sweden. He is an actor and producer, known for Oppenheimer (2023), Westworld (2016) and Vikings (2013).

His godfather is Peter Stormare.

Gustaf's second name Orm literally means "snake" in Swedish.

2007: Named as one of European films' Shooting Stars by European Film Promotion.

Best friends with fellow Swedish actor Matias Varela since childhood.

Born on the same date as Ryan Gosling.

[on his character in Evil (2003)] Well, let's say we all have the tendencies of everyone inside of us, you know. There's an embryo of these emotions. They're not really suppressed because if you suppressed them that's when they will become an issue. With that character, I really tried to focus on his own insecurity and his need to suppress other people.
