Biography

Rut Norma Sjöholm, born June 16, 1926, was a Swedish actress, dancer and revue primadonna. Her father was the famous aerialist artist Gunnar Sjöholm from the Steinhoff Brothers / the Eagles of the Air. Norma Sjöholm's big showpiece was the curvy sex bomb - a Swedish Carmen Miranda. She was a cover/calendar girl as well as a beauty queen. After her career in the movies, she moved to California in the 60's and became the owner of Norma's Swedish Meatball Corner, on 4002 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles. Norma Sjöholm appeared in 15 feature films and a large number of revues 1943-61. She suffered a stroke and passed away May 29, 2000, in Gothenburg, Sweden.
