Mala Sinha went around telling people that her daughter was signed for Love Story. But Rajendra Kumar replaced her at the 11 th hour with Vijayta Pandit. The problem is that Pratibha would have only been 12 years at the time,making the story quite questionable.

Pratibha Sinha was signed for Naya Sawaan but later opted out . The film was eventually shelved.
