The re imagining of Shakespeare's a Mid summers Night Dream in Barbados won Best UK Feature at London Independent Film Festival and Best Produced Screen play at Los Angeles Independent Film Awards in 2017. Company director of Uk and Caribbean Film Development Ltd . Executive Producer of award winning film " Looted" Written and directed by Rene Pannevis , Produced by Jennifer Eriksson and Jessie Magnum. Simmonds trained at RADA and worked as an actress before producing from Barbados and London. She founded the Gale Theatre of Barbados and London ( Barbados Reg no 277728) uniting expertise from both countries and sponsored by Virgin Atlantic .
