Biography

Harry Simeone was born on May 9, 1911 in Newark, New Jersey, USA. He was a composer and writer, known for Reindeer Games (2000), The A-Team (2010) and True Crime (1999). He died on February 22, 2005 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

Founder of the Harry Simeone Chorale.

Because he has recorded so few albums, he is still largely unknown to the general public, although his 1958 recording of "The Little Drummer Boy", written by Katherine Davis and Henry Onorati, sold in the millions, and is the one which first made the song famous. Simeone was also given credit for the song because he published it.

He was once an assistant conductor to Fred Waring.
