Children: Lara, with Magda Colares and João Guilherme (b. 2 February 2004) and Rodrigo (b. May 20th 2008 in São Paulo), with journalist Luciana Cardoso.

Before become a famous TV host, he worked as a radio sports reporter in São Paulo.

He has five siblings. The youngest is the journalist Leonor Corrêa (b.1962). She has a daughter named Julia (b.2001).

Studied Law in São Paulo, but never finished the course.
