  • Jules Hart began her career as an international fashion model, with stints in New York, London, Paris and Milan before landing in Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Ms. Hart appeared in various TV shows such as Murder She Wrote, Simon and Simon, and Days of Our Lives, and films Surrender, Body Double, and El Norte, before moving behind the lens to pursue her current passion of producing, directing, and editing independent films. Her most recent project, a web-based comedy series, Boomer Love, has Ms. Hart returning to her first love of acting, in addition to her producing role.

    Ms. Hart is a multi-award-winning producer and director and founder of Eye Goddess Films. Her work has aired on PBS and screened at dozens of film festival venues garnering awards and recognition, including the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, the Carmel International Film Festival, and the Athena Film Festival at Barnard College in New York City. Hart picked up an award for the Best Female Filmmaker at the AOF Festival in Pasadena, CA, and an Emerging Artist Award at the Beloit International Film Festival in 2011.

    Her documentary, Pink Smoke Over the Vatican, is a controversial exploration of the women fighting to be ordained as priests in the Roman Catholic Church. The film has won several awards including Best Documentary at the Santa Fe Independent Film Festival in 2010. The film was also screened at a parallel session at the 2011 United Nations Commission For the Status of Women and at Michael Moore's State Theatre in Traverse City, Michigan.

    The Healing Pole, a 30-minute documentary that aired on PBS, tells the story of a cross-section of "at-risk" California youth who came together to carve a totem pole as a gift to the City of New York after the 9/ll tragedy.

    Hart is the editor on a feature documentary, Finding Zorba, for director Chuck Davis, a 2017 Nogi Award-winning cinematographer, which explores the life and work of fine art photographer William Giles.
