Biography

Joel Sill was a producer and cinematographer, known for Twister (1996), Forrest Gump (1994) and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003). He was married to Kim Sill. He died on August 23, 2025 in Thousand Oaks, California, USA.

Graduated in 1964 from Grant High School in Santa Monica, California.

Received an Associate of Arts degree from Los Angeles Pierce College in 1974.

Father Lester Sill was a record label executive, mother Harriet was a homemaker.

Brothers Greg and Lonnie were music supervisors. Half-brother Chuck Kaye was a music publisher.
