Biography

Andy Sidaris was born on February 20, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was a director and actor, known for Malibu Express (1985), Stacey and Her Gangbusters (1973) and Seven (1979). He was married to Anne Sidaris-Reeves and Arlene Sidaris. He died on March 7, 2007 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Pioneer director of TV sports shows. He directed NFL Monday Night Football (1970) and earned an Emmy for his work directing the televised 1968 Summer Olympics in 1969.

Wife Arlene Sidaris served as his production partner when he moved on to direct dramatic TV. They made a series of action films that often featured a host of Playboy Playmates as stars.

Father of son Christian Drew Sidaris, and daughters Alexa Sidaris/Garner and Stacey Avela.
