Antrim Short was born on July 11, 1900 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He was an actor, known for Tom Sawyer (1917), The Flirt (1916) and Huck and Tom (1918). He was married to Frances Morris. He died on November 24, 1972 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Cousin of actress Blanche Sweet.

Brother of actresses Gertrude Short and Florence Short.

Son of actor Lew Short, and actress Estelle Short.

Juvenile lead with Biograph from 1912. A founding member of the Screen Actors Guild. After being reduced to playing bit parts in talkies, he became a casting director for Goldwyn, Republic and Universal and set up his own talent agency in 1947.
