Biography

Yigal Shilon was born on April 23, 1946 in Tel Aviv, Mandate Palestine. He was a director and editor, known for Avodah B'Eynaim (1988), The Big Tease: Here Comes Another One (1984) and Hayeh Ahaltah Otah (1980). He was married to Zehava Inbar. He died on November 6, 2024 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Brother-in-law of Miri Shilon.

In the 2000s, Shilon gradually retired from television, but continued to be a revered figure among artists, comedians, and young television personalities. He used to conduct workshops and support emerging creators, who admired his abilities and the sharp critical eye that brought him to the top.
