Dan Shilon was born on 24 October 1940 in Tel Aviv, Palestine [now Israel]. He is a director and editor, known for Le grand échiquier (1972), Mabat Sport (1968) and Yoman (1987).

His second wife was Miri Shillon, divorced in 2012. Their daughter is Adi Shilom.
